The AI is a generative language model; it does not refer to any specific online resource for facts, numbers, or data.
If factual accuracy is important in your use case, you will need to fact check content generated by the AI.
This is the same for any tool using GPT-3.5 or other similar AI models.
If you generate a lot of facts, figures, and data, this is not a good use of AI. However, AI-generated content still serves as a quick template for you to pluck in the correct data.
In addition, GPT-3.5 only picked up learning data up until 2021 and does not have knowledge of recent events.
